- Reposted by Cassandra GaribayI've been thinking about how many videos I've watched that started like Renee Good's & Alex Pretti's. People pulled from cars & accused of obstruction, grabbed after filming agents, accused of punching agents, ramming cars despite video evidence. Shot. They survived. But the arrests were brutal
- Reposted by Cassandra GaribayI’ve been in Minneapolis the last few days reporting on the ICE raids happening across the city. This morning federal agents shot and killed a man, identified by the AP as Alex Pretti. This marks the third shooting by federal agents since Operation Metro Surge started in Minnesota last month.

- Reposted by Cassandra GaribayLast year when I wrote about prison staff jumping ship for ICE, I reported that BOP had lost a net of at least 1400 employees by late fall. I just got new data showing they lost a net of ~1700 by mid-December -- though w/EOY retirements the final 2025 figures will likely be higher.

The reality: Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents. A must read from the very talented @nicolefoy.bsky.social:
