- All they really mean is, “Shut up, don’t use your platform, you don’t have the same opinions as me.” If Kid Rock won Grammys, she’d love to know his thoughts on ICE. It’s never a universal belief that politics should stay out of music or sports, just that her opinion is unpopular, so shut up.
