- The AC was out at my job all day today (hottest day of the year so far), yall mind if I dissociate at my local dive bar about it?
- As an artist you’re allowed to be excited by the concept of AI, you can be relieved at how it can make your life easier, but you CAN’T deny that it has a catastrophic impact on the environment; that as an unregulated industry, it robs and exploits the working class. That’s just the truth.
- If that’s not enough for you, fine! To each their own. I wish you’d reconsider. But you don’t get to be a victim because you’re judged for something you ELECTED to use. There are actual victims of AI and it goes beyond being shamed on the internet- they’re losing their livelihoods, their homes, etc.
- Please consider that AI is not being used as a catalyst for creative expression- it is being used by corporations to cut labor costs. And when consumers use AI, it sends the message that we’re cool with that. As long as we can look hotter in pictures and don’t have to write emails.
