- we've seen a lot that the progressive/leftists have 25-30% of Democratic primary votes and they don't seek to expand past that but hope to win a crowded primary by splitting the norm 60+% of the vote up between 5-10 candidates its why they're endlessly upset by people dropping out in 2020
- Half the field in 2020 was kicked out by the DNC for 'lack of support' after the first open debate. They then shoved a 'not running' Biden onto the stage, to stop Bernie Sanders from winning, AGAIN. Because he's not an AIPAC functionary and they can't call him 'anti-Semitic' for it.
