The Sanctuary Fortress is one of my favorite regions in any Metroid game. It's such an unexpected visual swing in the midst of what the rest of Echoes establishes aesthetically, but isn't completely outside of the realm of the alien culture you've been exploring. Game visuals peaked this gen idgaf
