But the Epstein-Mandelson correspondence shows us what happens all the time: plutocrats and government ministers conspiring against the public interest. This is why all lobbying should be in the public domain, but despite Labour and Con promises, it's not. 🧵

- I think it is worth remembering that the Gaza Health Ministry’s number is based on those deaths they were able to confirm. There are still those whose bodies have not been recovered. The number of Palestinians killed is still not clear.
- I cannot tell you how much doubt was consistently directed at the Gaza Health Ministry’s casualty numbers and how much pressure was put on news organizations to couch those numbers as unreliable. Biden himself said they were fabricated! www.haaretz.com/israel-news/...

- Reposted by Dr Anushka AubeelackBearded clown alert. Page 182 of today's BMJ. There are successful, progressive careers to be had for doctors outside of rotational training. - Reposted by Dr Anushka Aubeelack7/ Today's service must not come at the cost of tomorrow's. We believe this is the single biggest workforce issue of the day. The #SASsix campaign is based around appropriate contract use, support for professional development, and the opportunity for senior doctors to become leaders and educators.
- Reposted by Dr Anushka Aubeelack6/ As @rcphysicians.bsky.social reiterate in their rapid response (above), we must get better at supporting the careers of doctors outside of formal training programmes, or we won't keep them or see them reach their potential. There should be no such thing as a "non-training" doctor.
