1. The "hidden" restaurant is the extremely famous Oslo Court
2. It absolutely has changed its prices. Dinner today is £54pp before service. Inflation adjusted, that would be £230pp in 1980.
3. Why do I let stuff like this annoy me?
Jan 22, 2025 12:01I’ve got a theory (and I’ve done a series on quirks of history for Radio 4 so am part of problem) that we’ve ended up knowing the hidden/unknown/quirky facts more than the mainstream grand narratives and this is frying brains and causing loads of issues. Anyway thanks for the restaurant tip.
Oslo Court is a fantastic experience for waist-expanding yet affordable dining. In fact it's in my neighbourhood if you fancy a dinner date.
