- I don’t think the UK could rejoin the EU any time soon, or that the EU would want us back in. However, the UK needs to more actively support a broader European-wide architecture, with the UK on the inside of that; perhaps in a completely revamped and reformed EEA.

- There is no appetite to reform the EEA and no incentive for small & micro-states to be dominated by U.K. in a reformed structure. The Swiss option is more likely
