Jan 27, 2026 11:21There is no 100% ethical platform but TIDAL is the lesser evil out there and they also happen to pay their artists way better than Spotify anyway. There are tools to move from the site.
Other options include Amazon Music (highest fee for artists) and Youtube Music (most affordable one if you really use regular Youtube) that I know. I never tried Apple Music so I can't speak about it.
I know it is super annoying to move everything from a platform you may have been using for over a decade (just like me) but they rely on lazy commodity and inconvenience for people to not leave their services. I can promise you your playlists are not more important than people getting shot.
