- Reposted by boltlessv0.38.0 is out! github.com/jj-vcs/jj/re...
- Reposted by boltlessjj is actually Git-compatible so you can use it on existing projects without your collaborators needing to know that you are.. of course, you will tell them anyway
- thank you github!
- Oh I passed 200+ followers, pretty crazy.
- I have a stack of spare laptops at home. These would be good for testing small cluster. My home network is pretty unstable (30mins downtime total in a day, hard reset on every night, no LAN cable in wall) but new home is pretty done, so I'm going to make a homelab there before I actually move on.

- I went to split keyboard meetup last weekend. Had a lot of fun there! #MechanicalKeyboards #ErgonomicKeyboards #ErgoMechKeyboards
- Might be bit unfair to count like this, but @tangled.org core repo just reached 1000th PR tangled.org/tangled.org/...
- People scraping #atproto, how do you deal with foreign key constraints? For example, it's impossible to block users from making duplicated bsky like records for same post. But relational DBs usually expect unique "like" records.
- #rust isn't a superior language. But learning rust's type system makes other languages feel inferior. The curse of knowledge...

- My dad has been building a new house for our family, lots of cool smart home stuffs but I don't know much about details yet. This is my room (wip) Any ideas on how can I use this space? One thing I'm thinking of is embedding a home server below the ladder (you can see free space there)

- good talk. It's not people just too stupid to understand low level stuffs. They are just less accessible to newcomers with legacy tools and unfriendly docs. In webdev context, @htmx.org and @tailwindcss.com are few actually making fundamentals accessible. There should be more like these.

- I see I can develop fast with generative AI. But I just don't use them yet because I care all my projects bit too much. I'm putting a lot of care into every single bytes except the comments. I won't let anyone else to do my job it's my work and I have *strong* opinions about how it should be done.

- hey, @youtube.com, what's this. I have a premium account and now I'm watching an Ad due to session bug. Honestly I'm ok to pay even more for premium Ad free account if that's needed considering the infra cost, but WHAT THE FCK IS THIS???
- It's even open-source so I can just run my own for maximum privacy. Nice.
- I've been waiting this for my whole life. lmao
- Sometimes, I worry that I may be investing bit too much in #atproto. It's cool tech with plenty of potential, no doubt on that, but it might be occupying more of my focus than needed.
- I cannot think of better example than #atproto to learn #microserivces. Like, you cannot avoid creating several microservices even you don't want to.

- Happy New Year everyone!!
- Have you heard about the rule that right before an exam, your efficiency for everything except studying improves?
- We need general routing method under user domains on #atproto. Imagine `boltless.me/cool-repo` directing to tangled repo or `boltless.me/blog-post` directing to leaflet page. Multiple apps might want to take advantage of user domain, so it should be customizable and shouldn't tied to specific app
- Reposted by boltlessCan't wait for the loosened up, non-perfect, but quickly shipped AI-enhanced updates to hit my banking and insurance services next year. Im sure there will be no issues there at all.
