- Since the start of 2026, my backyard has received 1.8mm of rain. The average rainfall in January in Naarm/Melbourne is around 47mm. We've also had at least two heatwaves. My 3000 litre rainwater tank is pretty much empty. I've moved onto hose watering my vegetable garden. I just want some rain
