The Abrego Garcia case is the one shining moment I can think of. Administrative law (and academic freedom) has been an absolute disaster at scotus.
Dec 23, 2025 16:12I think it also important to keep in mind that the Abrego Garcia case, in the moment, stood for something important: That there are limits on what the government can do that the government will abide by.
I think things would have looked quite different w/o that minimal but important signal.
