- Finally it was just a matter of sewing the fingers to the hand, then sewing both sides together and stuffing the fingertips with polyfill and boom! Handpaw! Ngl I'm so happy with it, I still gotta finish some details but I got so much dopamine from that. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- Can't have dragon handpaws without scratchy claws. I found a 3d model on Etsy that I printed, sanded and spray painted. Then it was just a matter of sewing them straight in the fingertips. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- Once the inner side was finished, it was time to make the liner. I made a pattern by tracing around my hand, then blanket stitched everything together, first the two layers of liner then the finger holes. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- Beans, beans, beans and more beans. Painstakingly cutting minky and neoprene patterns, sewing the darts, sewing the minky to the neoprene, stuffing the beans, cutting holes in the fingers and sewing the beans into the holes. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- Yes my OC doesn't have beans but my fursuit will, sue me uwu I found a 3d beans pattern on Etsy so I made a first one, realized it was wag too small, so I made a MEGA CHONKY one and now we're talking. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- The fursuit saga continues! Time to maybe some pretty handpaws~ Nothing crazy for now, just tracing, shaving, cutting and sewing the fingers and palms. I did have a mild existential crisis about the size of the hands, but decided to trust the process and keep going. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking

- I've been waiting on supplies to share more progress, and haven't really had time to do crochet lately. Lots of you might not know but I used to make a lot of origami, maybe I should start posting these?
- Just a happy little molecule! Anyone know its name? Gift for a secret santa at the lab I work at #Crochet #Chemistry #ScienceArt
- And well, this is (almost) it! I've attached the belt to the base, and I'm honestly really happy with the tail motion. I might experiment with rubber bands to tune it slightly. I just gotta add the fluff at the tip, and fix a mistake I'll talk about in the next post. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- I added a plate to the base of the tail, with an extra fancy candy vore cross section. I sure hope this flexible foam won't be an issue later #Foreshadowing #Fursuit #FursuitMaking

- After sewing it all together, it was finally time to put the sleeve on. I think it's safe to say, the tail passes the wiggle test! #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- It took all week, but the red fluff is all done. And you guys are almost all caught up! I tried to make a sort of taper with the triangles getting smaller towards the end, I guess I could have made it a but more pronounced. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking

- I just realized we made it to 300 followers, thank you all so much! It really means a lot to have so many people tune in to my crafty shenanigans, I won't stop anytime soon
- Sorry for the slow updates, I haven't had much free time this week u.u I had originally planned to do a continuous spine of red but switched to "scales" because they look more fluffy. It'll take a while because I gotta make sure no blue fur gets trapped in the stitches. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- At long last... Another wiggle check! As you can see, the fur is now dampening the motion quite a bit. It's unfortunate for the tail tip bit it still moves for slower, high amplitude motion so it should look good when I'm walking. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- Now that both parts are finished, time for a fit check. I pinned them together, and the fabric feels a bit tight. I'll have to try to sew more towards the edge of the seam allowance to hopefully make it a little looser. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking

- Merry Christmas to me!
- Once the pattern was done, it was just a matter of tracing, cutting and sewing all the pieces. I found that trimming the fur along the seam allowances helps to hide the seams, might be overkill but I like to go the extra mile. #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- Taping time! That was a pretty relaxing part after the foam carving, the only tricky part was to keep the tail straight. Just traced the different segments and colors and boom, pattern! #Fursuit #FursuitMaking
- Here I show what happens when I hole the tail on the first vs second segment. In my opinion, the motion is slightly smoother when I hold the second segment. Plus it'll make transport easier, and a shallower angle means the tip won't drag on the floor. #Fursuit #FurduitMaking
