- I always seem to be a bit late to the Swift party (the first report was two weeks ago) but my first Common Swifts (3) of the spring! Singing Swallows in the village and House Martins already nest prospecting, where did winter go!? #cyprusbirds
- One of my favourite sounds of spring, the song of a Barn Swallow! Fresh in over the last few days and not wasting anytime. All 10 birds present were male and are already getting ready for another season. Volume up to hear them competing with the strong winds today #cyprusbirds

- 1/2. Great day spent counting waterbirds for the IWC at Mia Milia, Kouklia Dam & Clapsides, 3,968 birds counted across the three sites. Highlights include White fronted Goose (15) White headed Duck (2), Pied Kingfisher & a putative Eastern Yellow Wagtail! #cyprusbirds

- A cold start at Troodos, just 5 degrees. Managed to catch up with my target year bird, Hawfinch. 11 birds showed well + Mistle Thrush, Brambling, 5 Siskin & 6 Crossbill. The endemic subspecies of Jay, Coal Tit & Short toed Treecreeper were seen throughout the morning #cyprusbirds
