- Really sad to hear of the death of Chris Rea. My German host father introduced me to his music and I’ve never stopped liking it. Hearing his songs reminds me of my host father and returns me to what was *the* formative year of my adolescence.
- My host father was a funny man, and he’d put on the Chris Rea CD and do a little dance and exclaim “Let’s Dance” when that song came on. A couple years later I heard The Road to Hell Part I and noticed the traffic update at the beginning from NDR, the station my host parents listened to. 💕 RIP ChrisDec 22, 2025 18:14
