- Back of the catalog from that huge manga exhibit has a big all-text section that's packed with interesting, surprisingly "inside baseball" stuff about the manga industry. For example, apparently One Piece covers are printed w a five color process—CMYK plus fluorescent pink.

- Reposted by Ben TowleExcited to announce that my next book, I AM THE NIGHT, not only has a great cover but is available for pre-order now: us.macmillan.com/books/978125...
- Kind of disappointing that a lot of the pages in the catalog from that huge manga exhibit are digital proofs, rather than being shot from the originals that were on display. Getting good images of the originals is the main reason I buy the catalogs. Glad I took lots of pictures!
- Say it ain't so, Crunchyroll...
- There was merch at the exhibit by all the artists... but notably not much by my fave, Jiro Taniguchi. But I did grab this odd folder thing (?) from Solitary Gourmet that I've been using as a bookmark in the catalog!
- Absolutely bonkers. (From the catalog from that huge manga exhibit in San.)
- Nabbed at the Palm Springs Vintage Market this am. I've never read the second volume. Maybe we'll tack it on to our group read of vol 1.
- Reposted by Ben TowleSome old Daredevil layouts - I loved working on this book with @charlessoule.bsky.social
- (From my ongoing group read of the Steranko history of comics.) Presumably this was also when the use of the name CLINT in comics was forbidden.
- New addition to the studio out here!
- Making progress on this—albeit slow process owing to my French language skills, but progress nonetheless. Still in his childhood, so no interesting comics stuff yet.

- I first learned about the existence of this strip by stumbling on a couple of originals at the Billy Ireland!

- Heading up to San Francisco to catch that big manga exhibit before it closes at the end of the week! Better late than never...
- Reposted by Ben TowleSal Buscema, a comic artist best known for legendary runs on Marvel's Incredible Hulk and Spectacular Spider-Man, reportedly passed away last Friday, just short of his 90th birthday.
- Seeing some online chatter that Sal Buscema has passed away--today, on his 90th birthday. (Not confirmed obviously.)
- (DreamHaven is an absolutely amazing comics/book shop BTW.)

- Watching documentaries via Kanopy while I draw... and surprised to happen upon this! Had no idea there was a docu about Yoshihiro Tatsumi... and it's from 2011.
- Hahaha the Comics Journal headline www.tcj.com/i-have-no-mo...
- This looks like a great read. I loved this project--and still have all my (somewhat brown now) newsprint broadsheet issues!
- Rewatching this while I work on In the Weeds. Kanopy has pretty a great selection of documentaries (and other stuff for that matter) and you can often get an account for free from your library!
- Aw yiss... Finally getting up to San Francisco to see that huge manga exhibit--right before it closes! Very excited... been dying to see this since I first got wind of it. www.famsf.org/exhibitions/...
