- Assisted the bird observatory wardens with a seabird count (from boat) at Ynys Enlli yesterday. Main purpose was to count shag nests but some nice photo opportunities too, including this beautiful Puffin. @birdsinwales #birdingWales @bardseybirdobs

- An increase in grounded migrants included a Wryneck feeding on the track by the entrance to the distillery, a stone's throw away a Hoopoes finally showed well. At the lake 14 Sand Martins, 5 Swallows & 1 House Martin. Also today 6 Bramblings, Black Redstart, Wheatear & Sandwich Tern. Photo JH.
