We need to stop glorifying cynicism and despair.
Too many people on Bluesky think that relentless expressions of despair are a sign of intellectual sophistication.
That's why I hate doomers.
They don't want to change the world for the better. They just want people to be as miserable as they are.
Absolutely. I can understand expressing some despair, but needing others to feel miserable too isn't despair, it's spite, and it's useless when you direct it at the people you should be working with!
