- pokemon za is wish fulfillment for me in much the same way persona 3 is: i wanna own a big dorm/hotel and have me and all my friends living in it
- i am politically opposed to the denoument i think stories should end on one really strong scene
- I don't think there's anything i'd really edit out of pokemon za, playtime wise, but i do think the slow pace of the game really adds up over its playtime
- it's still wild mr penny arcade got in this game cause the comic was genuinely never good and his character here sucks and isn't funny

- i think there could be a lot of merit to the 2000's rpg "karma" system if you just add a second axis that goes from "sucker" to "wiseguy" and it's actually really bad if you're a sucker with good karma
- chess is so good it's like if a moba wasn't a live service game
