- Just spent the afternoon calling banks and the phone company to continue sorting out my dad's estate. My emotional tank is now empty for the day...
- Meant to type in "whitehouse.gov" into the search bar, but accidentally typed "shitehouse.gov." Certainly closer to the truth...
- We'll be rewatching the movie "Best In Show" tonight: a documentary about my parents and all their friends when I was growing up.
- We tried someone different to help us with our first annual visa renewal vs. the folks who'd gotten the visas through in the first place (basically, at the time, back in Dec, money was a significant problem). 1/2
- Hot take: the Epstein operation was a bipartisan activity with participants from "both sides of the aisle" and coverups by both Democratic and Republican administrations. This extends to the justice agencies of other countries that doubtless have evidence of these crimes and sandbagged it.
- Epstein and Maxwell were at the center. Ring 1: their "clients" Ring 2: their enablers/facilitators Ring 3: those who weren't directly involved, but knew what was going on Ring 5: Government officials who knew, but chose not to act. Add the victims and their parents, families, and friends. 1/2
- Well, I passed the first "le code de la route" practice test offered by Rousseau - after 10 previous fails (actually, it's just training at this point). The French technical driving test is orders of magnitude harder than those in the U.S. That's not necessarily a bad thing...
- Sooo...maybe have your officers start arresting the Brownshirts who are going around terrorizing and executing people?

- Okay, enough doomscrolling for now. Time to try and get back on track with writing.
- I don't typically have vivid dreams, and it's even rarer that I remember them. This morning I thought I heard a bunch of vehicles pull up outside, car doors opening, men (and some women) talking as they approached the door, then the door being battered down before ICE agents poured into the house.
- ICE murdered another innocent citizen because they felt like it and knew they'd get away with it. There's no help coming from Congress; Walz could activate the National Guard, but one has to wonder how many murders - executions - that may take. It's past time for folks to defend themselves.
- Anyone who continues to believe the Democratic Party is the "opposition" honesty needs to have their heads examined. Sorry, not sorry.
- Greg Bovino is the very image of small-dick energy. I hope he and every other ICE agent is sent to swing from the yardarm.
- Direct violation of the Constitution. There's no reforming this, and any politician not in favor of abolishing DHS/ICE needs to be kicked to the curb.
