haven't stopped thinking of this moment i had with R:Racing Evolution yesterday. instant setup-and-payoff. that psyche-out meter, in tandem with its Ace Combat-like radio chatter, creates storyline moments in races so much better than any modern racing game that's has attempted that (thread, sry)
