- I love music. As a kid I'd religiously listen to American Top 40 (a countdown of that week's Top 40 ranked hits in the US based on airplay & sales) with Casey Kasem on the radio. The week I was born, Crocodile Rock (Elton John) was #1. 😎 Curious what YOUR birth song is? Comment your birthday!
- One thing I've learned is that at some point you learn who you are, what you're good at. You can't go through life trying to be what other people need unless you already are what they need and it feels right. The only people you need are the ones who need you when you're just being your true self.

- Gentle reminder that even though many things are awful, you needn't obsess about it to the point that you're always exhausted. It's challenging, but your emotional energy is much better spent on what makes you and others happy. You can be vigilant without being miserable. You deserve to be happy.

- Update?: I have now heard that the Marriott is not enforcing the "no warnings, $250 fine for noise" rule, at least in that you probably would get a warning. I've also heard that they are not forcing the contract to be signed, so maybe they came to some amount of senses. I'd still be wary, though.

Yes, I could have created a collage almost instantly with an automated program but then I would have missed the entire fun part of the exercise - creation.

- Okay, Cher is 79 and performing on SNL, and I know they're auto-tuning the hell out of her and her lip-syncing isn't perfect, but still, she looks amazing and moves pretty well. She's doing SOMEthing right.
- The Sound of Music was great and all, but lets face it, some of the lyrics of songs sound a bit quaint and dated in 2025. Songs like "My Favorite Things," for example. I've gone ahead and updated them so they feel a bit more...relevant...should you want to sing along.

- I'll say this from the bottom, middle & top of my heart. Being a good friend can be hard. Sometimes you have to be honest when it's way easier to just say what they want to hear. But the integrity and trust you gain by doing so, is so much better than whatever sting your sincerity might cause.
