"For authorized or negligent disclosure of tax information under 26 U.S.C.§7435, taxpayers may recover the lesser of $500,000 or the sum of actual, direct economic damages plus costs of the action."
For the 44,000 disclosures, max disburse is $22bn USD. Trump wants almost half!
