I know the clips are out there but I'm going to watch Trump's NBC interview with Tom Llamas and thread some thoughts here. It's rare that Trump talks at length with mainstream outlets so I want to see how it went myself. (1/x)

it has gotten overlooked, but Trump's new talking point that crime is down in Minneapolis because of him is preposterous. As of the end of last month his goons have committed the majority of 2026 murders in the city!

Trump: "If they don't want voter ID, that means they want to cheat. We can't allow cheating on elections. Now, if we need to put in federal controls as opposed to state control -- remember, they're really an agent, they're really accumulating the votes for who wins an election."
