Brooke Rollins: "The American dream is not being on a food stamp program. The American dream is not being on all these programs. That should be a hand up, not a handout. As of yesterday, we have moved 1.75 million people off of SNAP."

SNAP is a small way to address the record income inequality in the US, starting with Reagan when all the benefits of increasing productivity went entirely to the already wealthy, instead of lifting all the boats together as had happened previously.
I guess I know the answer but I want to be sure: These 1.75 million people don't receive SNAP any more because they now are getting paid higher wages or stuff like that. They don't receive SNAP any more because te government wanted to save money?
Oh, so it's like the healthcare policy. Remove the benefit and replace it with...NOTHING.
If there is one thing that might rally rural Americans away from the GOP and into the Dem column it is to take away their food stamps and health care. BUT, Dems need to show up where there are votes to be had.
Well, one of her early affiliations was with Phil Gramm's wife. So lets stop feeding the poor's. That'll teach me!
As of yesterday, we have cut 1,750,000 people off at the kneecaps, and prevented them from getting ideas above their station.
"The American dream…hand up, not a handout…": can she speak in any idiom other than threadbare slogans?
It is a well-known propaganda method for right-wing governments to insinuate that the poor somehow chose to be poor, that they are at fault.
By this means they try to divide the people and to prevent solidarity.
Stealing food from hungry people.
Rollins is a nasty Nazi bitch.
