An interesting read. Whilst Cis myself, the LGBTQ+ gaming community, and the Trans community in particular, have long been staunch allies and supporters I do not deserve, but I do my best to reciprocate, and ensure my spaces are safe and welcoming to them, while actively hostile to bigots.

When I was just starting to dip my toes into Battletech beyond a passing interest, I first encountered a handful of raging bigots... only to be very quickly swept up into a queer-inclusive discord. And I'm proud to say I now *run* that discord, and we're over a thousand members strong. Seyla!

My siblings in the Battletech and wider wargaming community are the trans folks who have welcomed me the most since coming out, and I'll always be grateful for them! They've helped me feel community in times when I struggle to find it anywhere else.
