- Regardless of how any of us feel very talented actors were recast because they were striking for enforceable AI protections. They are the few that have been vocal, but this has been happening since the start of the strike.
- This is something ALL of us actors who are striking dread. But it’s something that we know could happen at anytime whenever we say “no” to recording for any reason.
- Reposted by Ashely BiskiIf you’re just learnin about the video game strike, I wanna clarify a key detail I’ve seen get distorted a lot: Generally, the *developer* decides whether to sign an interim agreement, not the recording studio. Often, the studio is only a middleman. They do not set this term.
- Reposted by Ashely BiskiThere are many contracts out there with AI protections, but only SAG Interim & Tiered Budget Contracts provide actors with a legal team to enforce the contract at no cost. Legal fees are expensive, and many actors would have to go into debt to enforce our own contracts if they were violated.
- Reposted by Ashely BiskiHey proxies, I was replaced as Soldier 11 because I am unwilling to perform work not covered by a SAG Interim Agreement during a strike for AI protection, the outcome of which will determine the future of our industry. Any other theories that pop up are incorrect. 🧵1/5
- Reposted by Ashely BiskiClarifying stuff I've seen regarding the strike recently: -Anyone can work on a SAG contract, Union, non-union, US, international, etc. -The SAG Interim Tiered Budget Agreement has options for indie and lower-budget video games. -Unpaid Game Jam waivers exist, and are negotiated per project (...)

- I cannot stress this enough. Support your fellow actor. This is not the time to get a “come up”. We are fighting for a better industry not just for us but for future generations to come.

What matters is what you’re not hearing - the voices of actors who are still striking. www.sagaftra.org/contracts-in...
- It's 2025 and SAG-AFTRA is still on strike for a fair Interactive contract that provides adequate consent and compensation when generative AI uses our voices and likenesses in video games #sagaftrastrong #levelupthecontract

- Happy 2025 besties! While it’s a brand new year, we actors are STILL very much on strike. So a reminder that if you’re seeing voices left silent in any games right now, it’s a good indicator that the game isn’t on one of the few safe contracts to work right now.
- If it was on one of those contracts (the ones with strong AI protections) then every actor would be able to go back to work immediately. If you are a fan of video games, know that we are, too, and look forward to returning! Please support our position so that we can get back to work safely.
- Many ongoing games have periodic in-game surveys or customer support ticket systems. Send a message and express how you love the VAs and can’t wait for them to return. When you see misinformation spreading online please kindly redirect to SAG-AFTRA approved posts.

- If you are an actor, fan, lover of games, watch these videos and share so that you can be properly informed on the strike. Why many of us are STILL striking. & how we can end this. I have seen so much misinformation being spread that can be harmful to us winning this thing.💥
- Reposted by Ashely BiskiI've seen some misinformation regarding the video game/interactive strike. I'm not going to call out anyone or any game in the process. Instead I'm going to remind people the strike is still happening for all Union voice actors. Which means they are not allowed to work on any game unless (1/3)
- New apps are hard. I already forgot this existed 😓
- Like I need the “ha ha’s” and the “he he’s” I don’t want to talk about work every second of the day
