- Big talk about “grade inflation“ in Germany. Underlying expectation seems to be that if you hold constant the difficulty of an exam, there is no way performance could improve due to more sophisticated preparation (GenAI, tutoring videos), graders are simply becoming more generous.

- In all fairness: dass der Politikstil “einfach durchboxen” nicht so mega gut mit einem fragmentierten Parteiensystem und einer knappen Mehrheit im Parlament vereinbar ist, war auch absehbar.

- So haben SPD und CDU beim neuen Sondervermögen im März gestimmt.
- Take: wenn der Schuss vor den Bug Merz in der Koalition ein bisschen mehr auf Ausgleich denn auf Strongman setzen lässt, könnte es am Ende des Tages auch was Gutes haben.
- Dass die Abweichler aus der CDU kommen, die vor 2 Monaten praktisch geschlossen mit der AfD stimmte, weil ein gewisser Friedrich Merz das von ihr wollte, scheint dann doch etwas abwegig.

- Unsere "wehrhafte" Demokratie sieht folgende Szenarien vor: 1) Verf.-feindlich + Militant + Mächtig = Verbot 2) Verf.-feindlich + Mächtig = Keine Parteienfinanzierung 3) Verf.-feindlich + Militant = Keine Parteienfinanzierung 4) Verf.-feindlich = Keine Parteienfinanzierung
- Wichtiger als die AfD-Einstufung ist eine Einstufung der Desiderius Erasmus Stiftung. Da die AfD zum dritten Mal in Fraktionsstärke im Parlament vertreten ist, wird die Stiftung - so sie nicht als verfassungsfeindlich eingestuft wird - bald sehr viel Geld bekommen.
