Yeah no. Despite my mother's rose tinted glasses about the badly insulated house with crap storage heaters when I was a child, "we were never cold" she says, forgetting the 5 layers at night trying to sleep in winter, my central heating is firmly on and I'm comfy.
We've got too soft with central heating. People should be thinking more about how to clothe and cover themselves with blankets before resorting to turning the thermostat up.
