unbelievable how comfortable people have gotten with sheltering abusers. people who have been victims of this easily recognize an abuser putting the responsibility onto a child. "it needs to stay between us or i could get in trouble" this alone is abuse:

i want to be open as someone that was groomed early and later in my life, my childish mentality was taken advantage of. i thought at 16-17 i was "more mature" than others due to my prior grooming, and abusive people took advantage of this. insisting 17 is close enough to being 18

i lost the last 2 years of my childhood. i was encouraged to make secret nsfw 18+ accounts while i was still a minor. it was heavily implied that if i ever got caught, everyone would see me as a terrible person, so i had to keep both our secrets for our safety

the "secrets", being that they were grooming me into believing i was "close enough" to adulthood i could draw nsfw for adults and that i was mature enough at 17 to have sexual relationships with adults who knew my minor status. 17 IS STILL A CHILD!

to deny a victim of grooming their final year of just being able to be a kid, that's sick. i keep seeing people excusing this behavior by saying it isnt that bad. how come a 17 year old victim is getting more scrutiny than the abuser who was 21 at the time????? disgusting.

i'm not someone victimized by sally but my experience was so similar that it is horrible to see people, popular and well liked people in a children's fandom!, sheltering a child abuser and gaslighting others. do better.
