- I am genuinely worried about newbie devs. It's super common to use things like Claude Code these days (I do!), but a lot of the folks singing its praises are senior developers. We know what the fuck we're doing. But I have no idea what advice to give to new people. Its a different landscape.

- If you're nervous about calling your representatives, there is an app called "5 Calls" that provides scripts on a range of issues (like defunding ICE!). Just read the script. Most likely you'll just end up leaving a voicemail, and you're done. It's not scary. Do it now. Fuck ICE
