Jan 26, 2026 20:05Your lil' guys remain lil' 16-bit looking guys the whole time (and sometimes I do wish they got cool battle sprites too but WHATEVER) while the bosses go from being these kinda goofy-lookin' 16-bit guys to looking like THIS
and they're always like 20 times larger than your party
and yes I did just wrap up my Octopath Traveler 0 playthrough at 153 hours and then go *immediately* into re-playing the original Octopath Traveler, because they're set on the same fictional continent and I wanted more time to chew over the story connections
