- Being Mexican, I have to admit that it hurt that many in the US did not feel horrified or angry by ICE’s actions until 2 white people were killed. Here are the names of *some* of the Latinos killed by ICE. Thousands more have suffered other atrocities. Please remember their names, too.

- I agree. In fact, my friends abroad, especially in Latin American countries, have seen these videos. Sigh.
- At least we have independents, swing voters, and some minorities who were fooled by the RW campaign lies but now see that they were ICEd out. Even a few magas. If we can stop their election interference, 2026 is shaping up as a furious strike back against them.
- I worry about the minorities being deprived of their vote due to all the gerrymandering and potential election interference by the right. Actually, I worry about fair elections altogether. Ugh, it’s so hard to stay positive!
- For Art Ed Sunday, check out this cool unit on Chuck Close inspired portraits by my 6th graders! #arteducation #artlesson #education #art #middleschool #visualart anitasagastegui.com/2025/12/21/6...
- Wow, they did a great job! None of the art classes I took in school had projects this cool.
- Thank you! My art classes as a kid were also never this fun 😆
- For Art Ed Sunday check out these whimsical 3rd grade collages inspired by Henri Rousseau #arteducation #artlesson #education #visualarts #artproject #elementaryschool #HenriRousseau anitasagastegui.com/2026/01/05/3...
- What a great art project! I want to try this myself now. I find that collage is a good way for me to just play and let go of my perfectionism.
- Thank you for taking the time! I LOVE collage, it’s one of my favorite media to work with, especially mixed media. If you ever get a chance, you might enjoy going back to my Art Ed site and type collage in the search bar to see what other projects we’ve done. I think you’ll be inspired! 🩷
- I had that same thought. I'm glad more people are waking up to these atrocities and protesting, but I hate what it says about us as a country that it didn't happen before now.😭
- And even now, there are still a lot of people who couldn’t be bothered 😢

- There is video of several of them on social media, but no mainstream has dared publish them.
- Yeah, I heard about it early on via blogs & liberal media, and thought once it got out there it would destroy their chances. Then it was obvious the dotard was lying about not knowing or planning to follow it. But voters in this country are so damn ignorant and out of it that it didn't sink in, ugh.
- Yup, so ignorant, that they don’t even realize what is happening to them, and us, now. They never will.
- Talking to the Moon I’ve been talking to the moon, not because it answers. The moon listens. Somewhere between my words and it’s light, something softens. The ache doesn’t vanish, but eases a little. I’m not put in the spotlight, but in the glow of the moon.
- Good to have you back!
- It feels like floating in a colorful cloud. So dreamy!
- Oh, I love that comment, thank you, Alina! 🙏🏼❤️
