I don’t know what’s worse: a Darren Aronofsky movie he made or a Darren Aronofsky movie he didn’t make
I liked Black Swan, but what soured it for me was how Aronofsky outright copied and lifted parts of Perfect Blue (after he tried to buy the rights to making a live action of it and was rejected).
Black Swan is funny to me because of how gay it is hahaha.
I still can never forget Mother! and the chokehold it really had on me though. Good horror film

I feel the symbolism is just Something That's There for me to drive something else I'm looking for in that movie hahahahaha
I think that as Filipinos were already used to blatantly religious motifs and symbolism in our horror movies, so it was just extra flavoring
