For anyone else with similar questions to this now-blocked person who replied to me in a random thread by a friend: I have comments set to followers, mentioned, and following only, to avoid random drive-by shit like this from strangers. A question containing its own answer.
Feb 5, 2026 21:50You are not entitled to the attention of strangers. I post on here primarily to have conversations with my actual friends, and secondarily to have discussions with people who at least know who I am and who have the potential to become friends or at least friendly acquaintances.
