This week's 9-1-1 opened with multiple people losing fingers in a game of tug-of-war. It is the greatest thing that I have seen on TV all year.

I've been rewatching Daria with my daughter, and, God, I forgot how good that show was. The first season finale, Misery Chick, and second season premiere, Arts and Crass are as good a one-two punch as TV has ever seen.
There's a Conan Gray concert tonight and the fan uniform is sailor PJs and hats. I was at dinner near the venue and saw a bunch of girls in the required outfits. At the table behind sat three girls in The Uniform and an older man, I assume a dad, wearing a Conan the Barbarian T-shirt. A king!

The most relatable thing about this week's

I have too much faith in Danny McBride as a TV creator to believe that his casting of Michael Rooker as a seemingly malevolent ex is not a blatant Sea Of Love homage. And I love it.
