- My 1980s kitchen mixer was tossing flour all over the counter! Pondered buying a new one, but after a few minutes of research I adjusted the speed instead. Had to fully tighten and loosen the adjustment screws to restore functionality. Now we have a nice slow stir speed again!
- John Fetterman's positions changed after his stroke. Why is this never mentioned? After her stroke my Grandmother said to me, "Blanche is gone." She knew she was no longer the same person. Not every stroke results in this, but some do. Fetterman is gone. He's not the person that was elected.

- Made the mistake of ordering a few items from Amazon. First time in months. It's taking over two weeks for them to deliver anything and there's a massive warehouse only two miles from my house! I'm totally done with Amazon.
- Opened the window and sat down for a nice quiet morning to get some writing in... and instantly giant smoking lawn mowers and leaf blowers arrive so loud I can't think... so I crank the music up. If I can't have a nice quiet morning it's going to be a WAR OF SOUND!
- Attending a wedding this past weekend when I realized nobody was taking photos! What? No way! I ran to the car and grabbed the camera. This cannot stand! Photographer friends and family: always prepared for emergency photo sessions!
- Reposted by Al BogdanReuters photographer Jonathan Ernst noticed that Bondi flipped open a file during the Senate hearing and he zoomed in. Inside were her crib notes for attacking the senators. The GOP now practicing Cliff's Notes Fascism In other words, under oath Bondi was purely a performance.
- Busy little Downy Woodpecker in our back yard. Always fun to watch them walk up and down trees like little spiderbirds. #Birds
- Looked out the front window on this dark and gloomy morning only to have this cheerful little goldfinch brighten the moment. #Birds
- Just spent some time writing in a cabin. Walking outside into nature is so much better for focus and relaxation than taking social media breaks... so today I bring you some of that nature during my social media break. #nature #wildflowers #photography
- Got out into nature this week. Always good to be without cell reception or WiFi for a few days. #bees #nature #photography
- Target won't bring back their lost customers unless they restore DEI policies, add pro-DEI product lines, and offer a sincere apology, but it better come off as fully sincere and serious or people are not going to forgive their capitulation.
- Two months now with a pinched nerve. Difficult to walk. Doctors insist on muscle relaxants, steroids, and months of PT BEFORE trying to diagnose what is pinching the nerve. I'm not impressed US medical system...
- Weird living in a time when killing children is discussed like the white/gold vs blue/black dress...
- Trump reminded me of the Monty Python Penguin sketch where the woman yells, "Burma!". When asked why she said it she replies, "I panicked." Only with Trump it's "Obama!" Now waiting for the Epstein files to explode...
