quick story: author I know hired a graphic designer. Graphic designer used AI assets. Author did not want this. Author realized close deadline that thing was AI. Author needed something not AI to replace this, and didn't have time so close to deadline to get a custom work or vet stuff. What do now?
Nov 8, 2025 03:20solution: ask artist to license existing artwork (that looks very similar in theme but WAY better) for one-time extremely limited use. Artist agrees. Artist gets paid, author gets non-AI, everybody is happy.
