Not a great photo but the colours of the fly caught my eye: my I-phone information look tells me it is a deer fly: Chrysops relictus! 🤔 Feeding on Ragwort in my wild garden area. I noticed a butterfly struggling on the ground and turned it over. It had been attacked by a wasp!
