Doing things on Linux makes me happy about computers again in a way that makes me feel like a backyard mechanic in wizard garb. Yes I just compiled the latest gcc from source to build an x86 emulator so I could play Steam games on my Arm64 box with suboptimal performance. But it’s Possible (TM)
Jan 23, 2026 20:08I switched to CachyOS for my gaming PC a few months ago and haven't looked back at windows. Everything works with only a little bit of tinkering on my part. Even VRC has given me no issues once I got setting dialed in.
