- Also please put this on the record: I fucking hate Newport Many people hate Newport theoretically or hypothetically or for some abstract reason, but as someone who is occasionally forced to drive through it... You don't even understand how much you could hate one town.

- Had to stop my inner New Yorker coming out yesterday when I almost yelled at a car while crossing the road. The kind of thing they section you for in London but in NY people might clap or join in
- I'll never forget the first fortnight in Brooklyn where I saw a car turn into a junction on a red. A woman on the other side of the road started yelling at the driver and hitting the car with her umbrella. As people passed, they kicked or hit the car. My city ❤️
