- Just told my mom how I wish I had more adults in my life that supported my writing when I was child (I had 1 only), and that everyone didn't push me towards doing art instead. She got insulted, saying "But your art is so good!! Always has been" No, it's not. Especially as a child.
- We were just in a town with 3k people who never saw anyone that could paint before. And no one cared to look at my writing except for that 1 person, bc no one could read past a 2ed grade level in our hick town of 3k people.
- Don't get me wrong, I have NO SHAME that I write #fanfiction, but I also have NO TOLERANCE left in me to deal with others' ignorance and assumptions about it and the writers. This trick also works well when you're disabled and get asked, "So what do you do for work?"
