- Hiring youth workers/educational assistants to help tutor young students is a great idea. New and important jobs that could result in making learning more fun. Unless students, also, are receiving Kevlar protection, the school superintendent should be fired for protecting teachers only.
- Instead of being given the funding necessary to hire more educational assistants and child and youth workers to proactively meet student needs and prevent meltdowns, school boards are given money to spend on Kevlar for educators. Make it make sense. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
- Department of Homeland Security (DHS) /ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) is trying to open another concentration camp to hold between 500 and 1,500 people in the Village of Chester (not the town) on the site of a locally owned business. - Just remember, all you farmers who voted again for Trump. The chaos you face is due solely to Trump and his administration. Trump wants to bankrupt you so he can do a quid pro quo deal with Big Ag.
- We have allowed this to be swept aside by other Trump atrocities. No longer. We must not let extremist school boards ban books. Each community fortunate enough to have a library must stand up for its librarians. Their contribution to critical thinking is immense.
