- Eric was one of the 104 children who were sentenced to die in prison in Illinois between 1979 to 2012. In 2022, Restore Justice began a multi-year project to tell their stories. Through their lived experiences, this project sheds light on the devastating impacts of extreme sentences.
- Like Eric, people once sentenced to die in prison are making remarkable contributions to their families and communities when they come home. More people should be given a chance to show that they are more than a conviction.
