- 2022 raz sketch he he
- ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra
- intensely sleepy and can't stop thinking about expressing Creature
- messing with some chaotic random typography stuff
- refute fans we are so back
- now you too can have your own viewers tell you you're wrong on your own stream with this as a browser source in OBS just send a call for the event 'ompuco-refute' or click on the page itself and it will instantly settle the argument (also make sure to set the audio) beta.ompu.co/experiments/...
- Doing the motion blur animation with super hacky CSS tricks instead of a dedicated WebGL context has revived my love of CSS crimes.
- Added a lightweight version that has no motion blur or reverb (still has the percussive kick sound but I might remove that from this version or set up a parameter system later, not sure yet) Works great on mobile lmao beta.ompu.co/experiments/...
- Unfortunately still between contracts and I'm only halfway to having last month's rent paid. I hate to keep asking for help but I'd really appreciate any small support as things have gotten a bit dire again.
- currently in a little bit of a particularly tight financial situation if anyone is in a position to help a queer creative critter get by in between jobs, i'd really appreciate it~ ko-fi.com/ompuco/goal?...
- gotta love how they switched to a subscription model, with the excuse of it allowing them to continually develop the software, only to switch to barebones support while *still* demanding people swallow the recurring costs for the active mainline development of *nothing*
- Adobe appears to have reversed course on this. Animate is safe, at least for the immediate future. www.reddit.com/r/adobeanima...
- I keep forgetting that the one throw-away YIQ-bleed (analog video) shader I wrote a decade ago is still in use in RetroArch & has a couple of forks by others, and also works decently well on some lower-end devices, which is honestly really cool!
- I really gotta put up more stuff for people to work with, especially with all the OBS junk I've been writing lately. I genuinely keep thinking my code is too sloppy to post, but then I look at this ancient thing I wrote which is so much sloppier, but people still figure it out & run far with it.
- GEEZ what an asshole
- had to stop here since unity 6.1 leaks memory like crazy on my desktop, but for some reason runs fine on my laptop (almost certain my desktop OS installation is faulty, but I don't have any spare drives to back stuff up to for a reinstall at the moment hhhh)
- lmfao (and no this isn't even my own doing this time, this is just how unity 6.1 runs on my fucked up os)

View full threadokay one more clip w/ midi reactivity either gotta move to the other computer or just downgrade the project (which i'm fine with, since for all the nice things in 6+ the bloated build sizes & added dependency files in builds for components i don't even use (looking at you, D3D12 folder) kinda suck)
- love revisiting old code i wrote during caffeine-fueled crunch nights
- from an ancient prototype i still really want to revive
