- winter trees at the Philbrook, Tulsa
- look for a sign...

- happy birthday to JJ Cale! Really have to thank 'the Lowdown' for helping me appreciate this Tulsa musician - such a cool song, swoony and romantic - and a great opening to the series... www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMWM...

- I’ve been joking that everyone in Tulsa needs to start dressing like we’re extras in ‘the Lowdown’ in order not to disappoint visitors - but seeing this guy painting in a park this morning? Kudos for the commitment, sir!
- for fans of 'Lowdown', wanted to see the street filmed in Tulsa. So fun they left 'Hoot Owl Books' on the door of the yellow building, along with the attorney's office next to it. No 'Sweet Emily's' sign tho. And the real Lee Roy Chapman's 'Center for Public Secrets' is at the light on 2nd pic...
- the old Catholic church downtown Tulsa is re-coppering the spires or something? Looks like Disneyland! Groups of runners stretched and ran by, several nuns came out of the church after mass, and clouds moved along. Beautiful Tulsa morning before the rain came in...
- the Master Gardening garden at the Tulsa Extension Center on a warm and sunny afternoon…
- field trip to Stillwater - stood in several fields for Master Gardening! The old swine barn - built by OSU students in the 1930s. A joke we had: 'Stillwater - sheep on the left, swine on the right' because that's how you drove into town. Land now grows fresh veggies for students and Our Daily Bread!

- pink October roses at Tulsa's teaching garden
- going to post a pic of Curious Clyde - our earthworm buddy from Master Gardening this morning (active escape artist!) but decided the MG garden much prettier (thanks to Clyde and Co, I’m sure!)

- good morning from Tulsa's Teaching Garden!
- played hooky today to Claremore, OK, because we'd never been there - and both of us just enthralled with this statue of Lincoln on the campus of Rogers State? It was amazing - it had everything! Wings, cherubs, chains, a sort of skeleton? Lillies, maybe a tent? and I don't know what all - and BIG!
- it's been cloudy for a week in Tulsa - so unusual - finally, sun peeks thru on this #BlueSkyMonday - Happy Labor Day from the teaching garden!
