- we did it, y'all. #typescript
- Working on a project using KonvaJS -- making public my collection of learning resources. Next up: React Three Fiber / ThreeJS
- I was reading an article on wikipedia about a local attraction that has a very old primary image. and I was like “I could take a better pic” but was also like “I wonder what the oldest picture from anything around #Dubuque actually is…”
- Portland has bummed me out the last few times I've been there; the magic seems lost. But this is absolutely beautiful. design-milk.com/portland-air...
- Coolest data visualization I've seen in quite some time. Not just the visualization itself, but the explanations of the data. Very easy to understand.
- welp just lost 20 minutes to a trailing fucking comma in a JSON file. why?
- Super cool map from Esri's StoryMaps team. Did not realize Illinois produced so many pumpkins... storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/d33a...
- Bummer that UptimeRobot decided to pull the free license for business users. Had been using for years before they gave notice that I'd have to pay up. I'm good on that. Spun up an instance of Uptime Kuma on my utility server and now have more features than I did before. github.com/louislam/upt...
- just got Black Friday-ed into buying this...
- ADHD tellin' me this should be the next thing I learn threejs-journey.com
- anybody got protips for keeping the Bluesky experience politics-free? Starting a list of accounts to mute: bsky.app/profile/did:...

- A More Personal Thread: My Tech Journey 🧵 1/ Hey, I’m Cody. I’m the Principal Consultant and Software Architect at Sandtoken, but really, I’m just a guy who’s been in love with tech since the mid-90s. This is my story—from curious kid to creator. Let’s dive in. 👇
- **How It All Began** 2/ Growing up in Dubuque, IA, I fell for computers the first time I touched one. My first website? Built in 1999. My first big mistake? Breaking AOL ToS at age 11 trying to learn how to code “progz.” (anyone remember those?) Lesson learned: curiosity can get you into trouble. 😅
- **Pivoting When You’re Stuck** 3/ When coding didn’t stick at first, I leaned into design. Flash animations, Paint Shop Pro, pirated Photoshop (sorry, Adobe), and dial-up internet were my tools. I didn’t know it then, but these years taught me to always find a way to create.

View full thread**Let’s Connect** 11/ If it seems like I'd vibe with you, hit me up sometime. I’m always happy to listen, brainstorm, and see where we can take things together. Tech is cool, but connecting with good people is better.
