- OK, so Balsam Karam’s novel ‘Event Horizon’ is an absolutely incredible piece of writing. It reminded me a bit of Marlen Haushofer’s ‘The Wall’ in that it can described as dystopian or speculative, but because of the world we are living in, the events described are ones that feel all too real. (1)
