Widow of Macbethad mac Findláech. Long time correspondent of Walter Raleigh. Fond of travel, whodunnits, and learning new things. Humanist. Would like to know what was the first ever story and who created it.
- My son's friend said that they're expecting 12 inches of snow. She lives in Oklahoma. Is this normal for there? Seems a wild amount.
- Presented the evidence to my department head of the damage AI was doing to our output - and the penny dropped! Feeling heard 🙂
- Would love to be hypnotized into being a sensible person. Could a hypnosis session turn me into an exercise doer who absolutely never overeats? And mops regularly.

- A positive for my fellow medical coders - the 2026 update includes codes for flank pain!!
- Reposted by Gruoch, prefer PenelopeMMWR has been a staple of public health for 24 years
- Was re-reading Elizabeth Anderson. Usually I feel hope that these ideas exist; tonight I felt something new. A protectiveness, as if they needed sheltered from the current world. Some form of baby proofing. Hope needs looking after these days.
- Making pâté à choux. Sent the son and the spouse to get fillings. They came back with two cans of generic pie filling and a container of cool whip. I feel disrespected.
- Reposted by Gruoch, prefer PenelopeStephen froze like a deer in the headlights and pretended to have connection issues because he unintentionally gave away the game plan. “Plenary authority is complete, absolute power over a specific area or issue, with no significant limitations." Show people this clip. This is an insane slip up.
- @danmajdali.bsky.social hello, Skippy wanted you to be told that she's out of surgery and recovering. Not up to texting yet, but doing fine.
- I haven't gone this long without hearing from my best friend in years - unless one of us was asleep or busy. I don't recommend it. Is unsettling.
- www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2025/09/23/r... I don't post often, but this is big !

- Today my spouse is going to teach our adult son how to inspect and possibly repair his car. Requesting positive thoughts for them both.
- This week's "things" are coffee with cinnamon, journal videos, and escaping into the delusion that the world isn't on fire, we have a compassionate leadership, are all kind people and businesses are completely ethical. Oh, and I'm an immortal scholar-wizard with fantastic hair.

- Am concerned about lack of companies' adoption of AI on top of the frequency of data breeches. Shouldn't fully safe data be worked out before we pay another bull to mind the shop?
- Live near two hermetic nuns. Church does not support them, they are discouraged STRONGLY from working and have to support themselves. If possible, please visit their site
- This morning my son got a new WoW title. He is celebrating by making dinner. Gaming as a gateway to good cooking. Not regretting the game stuff we got him when he was younger.

- Got a Costco membership. Came with a credit card at a rate of 29.9%. Called to see why I would benefit from a card with a rate that high. Was told the rate didn't come into it if I pay the balance off each month and It gave 5% discount on their gas plus a few other discounts. We discussed math.
- I have a different card with a 12% rate. If I pay for gas with that card and the balance carries to the next period, it loses the 5% discount but saves 12.9% from not using theirs. Am I wrong ?
- But it's still cash for the win.

- Lately I've been remembering a school that did bomb drills. We'd duck under our desks or sit in the hall imitating pillbugs. With the alarm going and the teachers correcting our form. Followed by them explaining about nuclear bombs. It was scary. Scared children are who we need to think about.
- A truth I hold unto death... It is a loss to the Doctor Who universe that Richard Ayoade has not yet been cast as Doctor Who. I don't know if he's turned the role down or not been offered it. Only that it would be glorious.
- @seananmcguire.bsky.social I don't actually know you, but believe today's Ted Radio Hour on insects and king cobras would interest you.

- Reposted by Gruoch, prefer PenelopeThere is a social contract where the govt looks after us or at least doesn't let us die unnecessarily. I don't believe america would manage a covid type disease with a higher mortality rate such as SARS earlier this century.Poverty and income disparity among other economic markers WILL get worse
- This morning I hit an incremental goal. While self- congratulating l thought of my best friend. She has been crushing a much more impressive feat. Without telling her business, I just want to say how absolutely incredible she is.
