Hours ago I watched One Battle After Another and I thought it was great. The direction and writing was mostly done very well. The actors did a wonderful job their performance especially Leo, Sean, Benicio, and Chase. An as always I love Paul's sense of humor.

Seeing that one scene with Jungle Pussy left me baffled or that one scene where the military invade the sister's monastery was so dumb
founding it made me wonder "why the fuck did you guys not try to defend yourselves?" Especially Deandra who is a former French 76. What happened to the badass ladies that gave off the "Rip Off Church" vibes. An as for Perfidia I'm both mad and at the same time get why she is the way she is.
Because there are some women who are like her irl (and I know from experience.) But the one that rubs me the wrong way and it sucks because I still love Willa. Is that only competent black female is the one who's mixed race. Paul dude I love you, but you gotta do better in portrayals. This wasn't
it. Overall I would still watch the movie again one day. Aside from that major flaw it was a fun and intense film. 9/10.
